Job Description:

We are seeking a diligent, attentive, and meticulous Retail Inventory Specialist to join our team. This role involves managing our store's inventory levels, performing regular stock checks, ensuring the accuracy of stock records, and assisting in order fulfillment processes. The ideal candidate will have experience in inventory management, possess excellent organizational skills, and have the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced retail environment.




  • Inventory Management: Regularly monitor and maintain optimal inventory levels in the store to ensure the availability of products at all times.
  • Stock Audits: Conduct periodic physical counts of inventory to verify accuracy with stock records and identify discrepancies.
  • Data Entry: Update inventory management software with accurate data on stock levels, orders, and returns.
  • Order Processing: Assist in processing purchase orders, including placing orders with suppliers, tracking shipments, handling discrepancies, folding, labeling, and shipping orders as required.
  • Loss Prevention: Implement and monitor procedures to minimize loss, including identifying potential shrinkage issues and suggesting corrective actions.
  • Reporting: Generate and submit inventory reports, highlighting trends, discrepancies, and inventory turnover rates.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with the sales and procurement teams to forecast demand and ensure stock availability for promotions and seasonal peaks.
  • Supplier Coordination: Liaise with suppliers to resolve any issues related to product quality, delivery delays, and invoice discrepancies.
  • Versatile Role Fulfillment: Be prepared and willing to perform various tasks as needed, including but not limited to folding, labeling, and shipping orders, to ensure operational efficiency and customer satisfaction.

  • Effective communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • High school diploma or equivalent; a degree in business, logistics, or a related field is a plus.

Working Conditions:

  • Environment: Work may be performed in various settings, including warehouse environments and on the retail floor, necessitating adaptability and comfort in diverse conditions.
